Gustave Glen Hollis

Gustave Glen Hollis, 69, of Greencastle, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Life’s Journey of Avon.

Glen was born in Queens, N.Y., the son of Judson and Mary (Travis) Hollis.

He was a graduate of Northwest High School in Indianapolis.

Mr. Hollis owned and operated A-1 Auto Sales in Greencastle for many years.

Glen proudly served during the Vietnam era in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1976. He was a member of American Legion Post 58.

He liked to roller skate and surf, both focused on balance which was important to him.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Lois Hollis; two sons, Glenn Hollis (fiancé Rebecca Hurt) and Jarrod Hollis (wife Megan); a brother, David Hollis (wife Trish); a sister, Marsha High (husband Wayne); six grandchildren, Tristan, (wife Darcy), Keridan, Graci, Koa, Keanu, and Nora Hollis; and nieces and nephews, Katrina, Sabrina, Jeremy and Stephanie.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

At his request a cremation will take place and the family will plan a Celebration of Life in his honor at a later date.
