Darrald DeWight Crosby

Darrald DeWight Crosby, 53, of Roachdale, passed away on June 19, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on May 15, 1967 to Wassell and Rosalie (Harvey) Crosby in Greencastle.

He married Heather Louise (Pulsipher) Crosby on Aug. 8, 2009 in Greencastle. She survives.

After high school, Darrald began driving a semi-truck. He drove for A.J. Hetrick Enterprises, as well as owned and operated his own semi-trucks for many years.

He attended Roachdale Christian Church with his family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, hunting, looking for mushrooms, grilling and showing 4-H pigs with his daughter Destiny.

He is survived by his wife Heather Crosby; daughter Destiny Crosby; stepchildren Kenny and Jake Quisenberry; step-grandchildren Carson, Jackson, Hayden, Bryson and Juliana; siblings Patricia Higgins, Russell Crosby and Debra Crosby; parents Wassell and Rosalie Crosby; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sibling Penny; stepson Britt; and his father-in-law.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 26 at Servies & Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale, IN 46172, with Mick Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Limited numbers in attendance may be regulated and social distancing is expected to be followed. Masks are encouraged.
