Patricia Lynn Clements

Patricia Lynn Clements, 71, Greencastle, entered the heavenly realm on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 with her loving family at her side.

Patty was born in Greencastle on Aug. 22, 1948, the daughter of Delbert and Lucille (Roach) White. She was a 1966 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Patty and her husband, John Clements, were members of the First Baptist Church in Greencastle. She worked for 22 years as a teaching assistant for Old National Trail as well as Peace Lutheran Church Daycare, Gobin United Methodist Church Latch Key program and Robe-Ann Park S.P.A.R.K. program. Advocating for children was a lifelong passion and purpose of hers.

Survivors include her husband of 30 years, John Clements of Greencastle; daughter Samantha Richardson (husband Josh) of Greencastle; son Brett Hecko (wife Kerrie) of Seattle, Wash.; son John Hecko (wife Amber) of Greencastle; brother Michael White (wife Cindy) of Greencastle; stepson Darrell Clements (wife Danene) of Monrovia; stepdaughters Tammy Denny (husband Todd) of Monrovia and Kim Obermeyer (husband Terry) of Bristow, Va.; and 12 grandchildren, Lily, Ben, Abby, Wilson, Leo, Brady, Dalen, Dalton, Dayton, Brycen, Austin and Jared.

She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Lucille Beatrice Richardson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tiger Pack program at Tzouanakis Intermediate School, 500 Linwood Dr., Greencastle, IN 46135. The mission of the Tiger Pack program is to serve Tzouanakis families who are known to be food insecure with food for the weekend.

Graveside services will be held at noon Tuesday, June 30 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bob Davies officiating.
