Cloverdale not having in-person graduation ceremony

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

Cloverdale High School will not conduct an in-person graduation ceremony for the class of 2020.

Principal Sonny Stoltz told the Banner Graphic that a survey among the graduates indicated that most of them did not want to have an in-person ceremony.

“Some still wanted to stay the course, but most did not see the worth after the fact,” Stoltz said, referring to a virtual graduation held back on May 15.

The in-person ceremony was originally set for later in July.
