Hamilton Center announces new program manager

Hamilton Center recently welcomed Program Manager Monica Wallace to the Clay and Putnam satellite sites.

The Clay County office is located at 1211 E. National Ave., Brazil, and Putnam is located at 239 Hillsdale Ave., Greencastle.

Wallace holds a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education and child development and family life from Indiana State University. She has been with Hamilton Center for 14 years, where she started out as a school-based care manager and was eventually promoted to care manager supervisor.

Wallace has significant experience in the fields of mental health and social work and is currently involved with the Clay County Cooperative Benevolence Ministry Board, coordinating assistance throughout Clay County. Her clinical interests are to encourage more consumers and/or families to participate and engage in their own treatment.

As program manager she hopes to expand services to reach more individuals in need of school and community based services in both Clay and Putnam Counties.

Hamilton Center is a regional behavioral health system in Central and West Central Indiana with corporate offices located in Terre Haute. Services are provided to children, youth and adults, with specialized programs for expectant mothers, infants, and people who may be struggling with stress, life changes, or relationship issues as well as more serious problems such as depression, anxiety disorders and serious mental illnesses.
