Sara Patricia Sample

Sara Patricia Sample, 77, formerly of Cloverdale, passed away July 8, 2020.

She was born Aug. 19, 1942 to the late Woodrow Wilson Belcher Sr. and Dorothy (Clark) Belcher in Jefferson County, Ala.

She married Ronald Edward Sample, on Nov. 2, 1966 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2015.

She is survived by her two sons, Bradford Wilson Sample (Michelle) and Brett Allen Sample; stepchildren Gregory Zane Sample (Marla), Paula Marie Radican (Michael), Charlene Ann Hambrick (Steven), Ronald Eric Sample and Everett Forest Sample (Julie); her sister, Anita Hooper; brother Gaines Belcher; 28 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Woodrow Wilson Belcher Jr. and sister Marion Huie.

A graveside service for Sara will be held at Kinnaman Cemetery, Fortville, on Wednesday, July 15 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Bethany Christian Services.
