Judith Jo Cox Kelly

Judith Jo Cox Kelly, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020.

Born Nov. 18, 1934 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of R. Chayce Cox and Audrey (Wisehart) Cox Leas.

Judith was a 1952 graduate of Darlington High School and received her undergraduate and master’s degree from Purdue University.

Judith worked as a speech pathologist and audiologist and taught part time at DePauw University. She was a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Greencastle Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Kelly-Vance (Michael Vance) of Omaha, Neb., and Jane Kelly (Thomas Lidd) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a cousin, Bob Stwalley and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kelly, and her parents.

Private graveside services will be held at the Green Lawn Cemetery in Darlington.

Memorial contributions may be made in Judith’s memory to the donor’s charity of choice.
