Emerald Palace remains community asset

To the Editor:

I want to give credit where credit is due and it is due to the ladies who created the mural and rocket ship at the Emerald Palace playground: Mallary Meyer, Gillian Monnett and Cathy Merrell.

As one of the co-chairs of the playground build in October 2001, this project was and still is very close to my heart.

My thanks to you for taking the time, effort and creativity to improve the playground and appreciating its place in Robe-Ann Park.

This structure is a valuable asset to our community, and your efforts will shine and last a lifetime.
