Call and Response

Taking a break from trading licks with guitarist Paul Holdman (below), Tad Robinson breaks into a big grin Tuesday evening during the final installment of ParkFest for the 2020 season. The local soul blues singer and harmonica player was joined for the set by Holdman as well as organist Kevin Anker, drummer Brian Yarde and bassist Dave Murray. In addition to Robinson’s show, the crowd at Robe-Ann Park was treated to a three-song virtual set from Mike Van Rensselaer, who has played every ParkFest since its inception in 1994 but opted not to play in person this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
