After having one of its musicians test positive for COVID-19, the Brazil Concert Band has canceled the rest of its concerts for 2020.

"Due to one of our members testing positive for COVID-19 and after consulting the City of Brazil and our band officers, we have decided to cancel the rest of the 2020 Brazil Concert Band season," Director Matthew Huber told the Banner Graphic late Friday morning.

"We feel that this is in the best interest of our musicians and our audience," Huber concluded. "We look forward to our 2021 Brazil Concert Band season."

  • Looking forward to next year! The concerts are always wonderful, but these are unusual times and we must adjust to the changes.
