Delilah M. Kerrick Adamson, 98, of Greencastle and formerly of Rockville, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Sunday Aug. 2, 2020 at Autumn Glen.

She was a homemaker.

She was born Nov. 28, 1921 in Edgar County, Ill., to the late Ralph Kerrick and Jennie Tucker Kerrick.

Her husband, Clark Raymond Adamson, whom she married Sept. 14, 1949, passed away Aug. 24, 1980.

Survivors include four daughters, Susan (Paul) Hocker of Indianapolis, Lynn (Morris Ray) Smith of Rockville, Jane Adamson of Atlanta, Ga., and Jean (Denny) Lents of Plainfield; one sister-in-law, Ethel Watt of Greencastle; four grandchildren, T.J., Carrie, Kim and Jenny; three step-grandchildren, Darla, Alan and Kim; five great-grandchildren, Connor, Bethany, Lexi, Skylar and Alivia; several step grandchildren and their families.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Emil Kerrick.

She was a 1940 graduate of Paris (Ill.) High School.

She was a member of Beech Grove United Methodist Church and the churches ladies aid.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with Pastor Marilyn Culler and Pastor Mark Strahm officiating.

Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery in Carbon. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Gooch Funeral Home.
