Charles L. Krominaker II

Charles L. Krominaker II, 83, Greencastle, passed away peacefully at Asbury Towers on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020.

He was born Nov. 26, 1936 to Charles L and Viola Figel (Krominaker).

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Charlene, daughter Carla and sister Barbara Sweet.

Charles worked for the newspaper in Fort Wayne spanning a career of more than 40 years, retiring so he could move to Greencastle to be closer to his grandchildren.

He always had time to joke and visit. His greatest joy was family, fishing and Chicago Cubs baseball.

He is survived by his son, Curtis Krominaker and wife Lori; sister Judy Taylor; four grandchildren, Dalton Krominaker, Alex Krominaker, Ethan (Katie) Woods and Brady (Brook) Woods; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Hebron Cemetery in Russellville at a later date.
