Janet E. Kinser Gibson Ellett

Janet E. Kinser Gibson Ellett, 85, Coatesville, has gone home to her heavenly father.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Janet was a member of the Belleville Bible Church and had been a Sunday school teacher for 40 years. She had previously worked as a telephone operator and later a secretary for Indiana Bell, and was a homemaker and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Branham Kinser and Ellen Irene McClure Kinser Logan; her husbands Edward “Dutch” Gibson and Dr. John D. Ellett Jr.; sons J.D. and Mike Ellett; brothers Robert and Clayton Kinser.

She is survived by her daughter Pam Gibson; grandchildren Michele (John) Spencer, Rachel Ellett, Melanie (Chris) Foster and Melissa (Howard) Hicks; great-grandchildren John Earl (Samantha), Katherine and Clayton Spencer, Ulrich and Hannah Chaparro, Paige McIntosh, Audry Ellett, Phoebe and Archer Foster and Teagan Hicks; great-great grandsons John Carter and Maxwell Spencer; niece and nephew Jaycee and David Peak; and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 22 at 3 p.m. at Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, with calling from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the Coatesville Food Pantry.
