New role for McLaughlin at TCB

The board of directors of Tri-County Bank has named Vice President Steven D. McLaughlin as the bank’s business development officer.

McLaughlin has been in banking for more than 30 years and with TCB since 1992. He also is the bank’s security officer.

“Steve will do a great job as our business development officer,” Chuck Dixon, TCB president-CEO, said. “With his many contacts in our market area, TCB is fortunate to have Steve take on this new role.”

McLaughlin, a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, resides with his family in Crawfordsville.

Michael “Mitch” Mitchell

G. Michael “Mitch” Mitchell recently joined Tri-County Bank as its EVP and senior lender.

Mitchell comes to TCB with 15 years of lending experience, which includes bank management roles. With an expertise in commercial lending and underwriting he has a full background of all types of lending (commercial, mortgage, leasing, agriculture, etc.).

“Mitch is a great addition to the TCB team,” Dixon said. “His background fits well into our lending role within our West Central Indiana market.”

Mitchell, a graduate of the University of St. Francis (Fort Wayne), lives with his family in Brownsburg.
