Voices of Recovery event set Saturday at Robe-Ann

The Putnam County Recovery Coalition invites the community to its Voices of Recovery program at Robe-Ann Park this Saturday, Sept. 19 from 2-5 p.m.

Community members will have the opportunity to hear testimonies from those who have fought addiction.

There will be resource tables from Parents of Addicted Loved Ones (PAL), Cummins Mental Health, House of Hope, Beyond Homeless, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Clean Slate, Mental Health America of Putnam County, Overdose Lifeline and more.

Speakers will include Greencastle City Councilor Veronica Pejril, PAL Regional Coordinator Consultant Diane Buxton, Keith Blackburn, Misty Wallace, Mike Wilson and Jeremy Miles.

Music will be performed by Character Defects and Terry Pepple and Band.

Masks will be required, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
