Janet K. Whitaker

Janet K. Whitaker, 80, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord Sept. 30, 2020.

She was born June 20, 1940 in Chicago to the late Merlin and Edna (Cross) Kirmse.

She married Kenneth Whitaker on June 21, 1959, and he survives.

She was a real estate broker for 40 years in Putnam County.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jim Whitaker and wife Kelly, Dave Whitaker and wife Jolene, Cheryl Arnold and husband Tim. Janet also had six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings.

Funeral services for Janet will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time.
