Robert D. Huffman

Robert D. Huffman, 81, of Cloverdale, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 30, 2020.

He was born July 10, 1939 in Acton, to the late Robert and Naomi (Nolting) Huffman. 

He married Margot Susan (Schafer) on May 28, 1986, and she survives.

He served his country in Vietnam with the United States Air Force.

He worked for 33 years at Allison Transmission and was very active within the Cloverdale and Lawrence Masonic Lodge. He was also active within the Eastern Star of Lawrence as well as the Knights of Templar and was a clown with the Shrine.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Allyson Lockwood and husband Dana, and his step-children Kevin Brian Beanblossom, Cynthia Lynn Beanblossom and husband Ben, Brent Lee Beanblossom and Suzy Anne Beanblossom,  as well as many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson William Kurt Beanblossom.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time.
