Putnam County yard waste site closing Oct. 31

The Putnam County yard waste drop-off site, located at 2363 S. CR 250 West in Greencastle, will be closing on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the warmer weather to clean up yard trimmings and debris before the site closes for the year.

The site is open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The site will reopen on April 3.

Businesses and contractors are prohibited from using the site.
