To Fillmore and Beyond?

Monday, October 26, 2020
A cowboy and a space ranger on the road to Fillmore? It’s just this year’s installment of the annual Halloween hay bale display, again brought to us free of charge by Bryce and Becki Arnold. This year, it’s Sheriff Woody Pride and his best pal Buzz Lightyear of “Toy Story” fame. In a tradition dating back to 2013, the Arnolds turn their property at 3775 E. CR 50 North (Right-of-Way Road) in Marion Township into a display of agricultural artistry. The tradition began in 2013 with The Minions from “Despicable Me,” which were followed by Mike and Sulley of “Monsters Inc.,” SpongeBob SquarePants and pal Patrick and Peanuts characters in honor of the comic strip’s 50th anniversary in 2016. Lilo and Stitch from the cartoon of the same name appeared in 2017, followed by Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Spud in 2018 and then Simba, Timon and Pumbaa of “The Lion King” last year.
