Community Foundation launches new adult scholarship

The Putnam County Community Foundation has announced the creation of the Adult Careers Scholarship.

This scholarship opportunity was designed to reduce the financial barriers for adults seeking to further their careers by attaining an accredited certification, credentialing or apprenticeship program.

Applications must be submitted online at www.pcfoundation.org by Thursday, Dec. 31 at 5 p.m. to be considered. Scholarship recipients will be notified within 30 days of the application deadline.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and the Foundation will review applications four times a year.

Submission deadlines for 2021 will be March 31, June 30, Sept. 30 and Dec. 31.
