Local Attorney Michael Goss is welcoming a new lawyer to his practice. He didn’t have to look far to find someone to fill the position.

Adam Goss, Michael’s son, was recently admitted to the practice of law in Indiana and is taking on a new role at the firm.

Adam, a Putnam County resident, has been with the firm for more than six years, serving as a liaison between local businesses and the firm, as well as handling Medicaid planning for clients.

Adam is a graduate of Wheeler High School in Valparaiso, Western Governors University and most recently the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

“Adam learned a lot and contributed a lot to our practice these past years,” Michael said. “Now that he’s a licensed attorney, he’ll be helping clients in even more ways.”

Previously, Adam worked for the Indianapolis Star. He and his wife Mary live in Greencastle with their two children.

The Goss law firm focuses on “elder law,” working primarily with older clients on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and helping people protect their assets against long-term care costs. The firm also helps clients obtain guardianship over loved ones who have mental or physical disabilities.

Other firm staff members are legal assistant Rachael Thomas and benefits specialist Jessie Hoskins.

Located at 2100 E. State Road 240, the Goss law office can be reached at 301-4494. The mailing address is P.O. Box 285, Greencastle, IN 46135.
