County Jail

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Monday.

• At 6:29 p.m. Jolynn F. Hausdorfer, 22, Bloomington, was lodged at the jail for theft.

Sheriff’s Office

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage crash.

• At 6:37 p.m. on Monday, Trent D. Thompson, 53, Cloverdale, was northbound on U.S. 231 just north of U.S. 40 in a 2015 Toyota Highlander when he hit a deer.

The vehichle was not operable and was towed from the scene.

Deputy Randy Patrick estimated damage at $5,000-$10,000.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department performed two recent medical assists.
