Glenna “Kaye” Crawley was born July 26, 1945 and passed peacefully on November 25, 2020 at the age of 74.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Irene Crawley; her three older sisters, Betty Bruner, Patricia Crawley and Sharon Evans; her nephew, Gene Wayne Bruner; and her niece, Dianna Kaye Long.

She is survived by three nieces, Faith A. Long, Carla Sue Long Hamilton (Tom) and Kimberly A. Bruner Wong (Ignatius); two nephews, Charles “Michael” Long and Scott Evans; and brother-in-law Robert Evans.

Kaye had many great- and great-great-nephews and nieces.

Kaye worked at Grain Dealers Mutual Life Insurance for 40-plus years before retiring. Kaye enjoyed traveling, especially a trip she made to Italy; genealogy research; reading; drawing and coloring mandalas; working word search puzzles; and watching musicals.

Kaye loved college basketball, IU particularly, and Colts football.

There will be a family-only service at the graveside due to the current pandemic. At a time in the future when it will be safe there will be a celebration of life, where everyone who loved Kaye, has stories to share and just wants to honor the woman she was, can come together.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kaye’s name to the charity of your choice.

The family would also like to take this opportunity to thank the entire staff at Mill Pond for their care and dedication to Kaye along with their patience in answering questions.
