John Farris

John Farris, 77, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born in Brazil on Sept. 22, 1943 to the late Stanley and Vada (Flockhart) Farris.

John graduated from Staunton High School in the class of 1961, and worked in sales most of his career.

He was very active in sports, spending many years coaching and attending events.

John was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley, Jerry and Bill Farris, as well as his sister, Arabelle Clagg.

He is survived by his two sons, Todd (Marla) Farris of Greencastle, and Troy (Jennifer) Farris of Brazil; sisters, Barbara Stearley and Susan Crick; grandchildren, Ryan (Elizabeth) Farris, Katie Farris, Jackson Farris and Jenna Farris; great-grandson, Harvey Farris.

A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
