Regina Sue Trent

Regina Sue Trent, 58, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 at Methodist Hospital.

She was born in Crawfordsville on June 13, 1962 to the late Floyd “Doc” and Shirley Ann (Mills) Surface Jr.

She married Steven R. Trent on April 10, 1981 in Morton. Steven preceded her in death on June 26, 2016.

Regina graduated with the class of 1980 from Southmont High School.

She began working at Wabash College and later DePauw University where she currently worked in food service. She loved working with food, and truly cared about the students she came into contact with.

She loved everything about the holidays, decorating, crafts, spending time with her daughter Jessi, her granddaughters and her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Roger) Boller; granddaughters Kiersten and Kailen; siblings Randy (Jayne) Surface, Rita (Gene) Starnes and Rodney (Elisa) Surface; several nieces and nephews; aunt Frieda Dozier; and brothers-in-law, David (Susan) Trent and Jeffrey (Ann) Trent.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Wendylene Trent.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Bainbridge Cemetery with Pastor David Finch officiating. Masks will be required and social distancing will be expected.
