CLOVERDALE -- Endeavor Communications celebrated its continued support of the local communities it serves by donating nearly $8,000 to the Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center and Hendricks County Hospital Cancer Center recently.

The funding includes donations collected as part of Endeavor’s annual Monster Dash Family 5K Walk/Run. This year’s event was especially notable as it was entirely virtual and directly benefits the local cancer facilities.

Putnam County Hospital stated the funds will be used for new chairs for chemotherapy patients to sit in while they receive treatment, while Hendricks County Hospital will be using the donated fund for their Cancer Survivor Program.

The annual Monster Dash Family 5K Walk/Run event is organized and staffed by an energetic group of Endeavor Communications employee volunteers dedicated to helping raise funds for local cancer centers. The family-friendly event drew walkers and runners from Putnam County and throughout the United States who all participated virtually.

Events like Monster Dash wouldn’t be possible without the help of key local community organizations, including CSU, Berry It, Bexi, Brad Tucker State Farm, Cash Concrete, Cloverdale Agri Center, Consortia Consulting, First National Bank, Graphic Shack, Hayes Murphy Sharp Insurance, Hendricks Power Cooperative, IFN, Jedele Enterprises, Kentico, Krambo’s, Lightstream, Monon Telephone, Mulberry Telephone, Ninestar, Odd Fellows, PQC, Putnam County Hospital, Putnam Inn and Retired Military Service along with all the local merchants who donated door prizes, event participants, volunteers and everyone else who donated to the cause.
