Jerry L. Rogers

Jerry “Pap” L. Rogers, 69, passed away on Jan. 13, 2021.

He was born on March 13, 1951 to Gerald “Jerry” Rogers and Francis JoAnn Deck-Rogers in Indianapolis.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Dan, Bill and Jim.

He is survived by his son Justin Rogers; daughters Stephanie Kilgore, Jerilyn Roger and Victoria Young; sisters Susan Hebert and Jamie Getz; grandchildren Shania, Skyler, Stormie, Izabella and Caleb Joshua Young II; many great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church is Gosport. He belonged to the fire department of Wayne Township.

Jerry was also a member of the Woodworking Association. He loved doing wood work and more than anything spending time with his family.

A visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, Jan. 18 at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with services starting at 1 p.m..
