Lena Virginia Grimes

Lena Virginia Grimes, 93, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021.

Born March 31, 1927 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of William E. and Myrtle (Lentz) Taylor and attended Greencastle High School.

Lena owned and operated The Workshop, an upholstery shop in Greencastle. She had previously worked at Mallory for several years.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a former member of the Clinton Falls Church. Lena loved doing crafts, woodworking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Grimes Jr.; twin daughters LeaAnn and DeaAnn Grimes; and six siblings.

Lena is survived by her daughters Kathy (Kenny) Ferrand and Donna (Jim) Cooper; a son, Danny (Judy) Grimes; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Lena will be held at a later date at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
