Betty Jo Baldwin

Betty Jo Baldwin, 91, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at Hickory Creek at Sunset.

Betty was born in Greencastle on June 2, 1929, the daughter of Davis and Freda (Hannaman) Umberto.

She attended Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Baldwin worked for the Banner Graphic as an inserter until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds and loved animals of all kinds. She had a kind heart.

Survivors include her son, Danny E. Lyon (Myra); two daughters, Sherry Crawley (David) and Nancy Zimmerman; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special great niece, Shelia Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margaret Rolls.

At her request she will be cremated and burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
