Mary M. Hessler

Mary M. Hessler, age 78, of Stilesville, passed away Feb. 2, 2021.

She was born April 30, 1942 to the late Virgil and Bonnie (Swango) Stepp.

She married James Hessler on July 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 2018.

Mary worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. She loved her job and every person that walked through the door to see her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all.

She is survived by her children, James Junior Hessler and his wife Julia, Tim Hessler and his wife Tammy, Dan Hessler, Bambi Cline and her husband Patrick, Mark Hessler and his wife Natalee and Susie Nysewander and her husband Kent; sisters-in-law Lynda Hicks and Jenny Newcomb and husband Ken; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Phil Hessler and her brothers Robert Stepp and Larry Stepp.

Due to COVID restrictions, we are having a private family ceremony. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
