Frances J. Higgins

Frances J. (Butler) Higgins, 96, of Greencastle, passed on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021.

She was born Sept. 23, 1924 in Indianapolis.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Frances retired from the Putnam County Hospital, where she had worked in housekeeping for several years. She was also an avid bingo player.

Frances is survived by her daughter Jacqueline S. Grayson and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Higgins; parents; son John Henry Higgins Jr.; and daughters Judy Bruner and Barbara Jean Higgins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25 at the Forest Hill Cemetery with interment to follow.
