Supporting a larger community effort to provide a legal and safe surrender option for parents unable to care for their healty newborns, Tri-County Bank & Trust makes a donation to the Safe Haven Baby Box program at Putnam County EMS. Presenting the $1,500 donation are Tri-County Assistant Vice President Nathan Scott (left) and Vice President of Business Development Steve McGlaughlin (second from right). Chief Kelly Russ and Lt. Seth Green happily accept the donation on behalf of the department. Russ recently announced that PC EMS had taken possession of the box, which will soon be installed on the side of PC EMS headquarters at 513 Bloomington St., Greencastle.
