Community Foundation seeks youth leaders in philanthropy
Local high school students wanting to make a difference in Putnam County, develop leadership skills and learn more about philanthropy are invited to apply for membership on the Putnam County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropy Committee.
PCCF is accepting applications through 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 18 at pcfoundation.org.
The Youth Philanthropy Committee reviews grant applications from Putnam County youth conducting service projects, completes its own group service project and seeks funds for its own youth philanthropy endowment.
The committee meets monthly and consists of student leaders from all parts of the county. The program provides funding for youth-led projects in Putnam County through a competitive grant application process.
Students may learn more about this opportunity by contacting a Youth Philanthropy Committee member at their schools. At Cloverdale High School, contact Aubree Branigan or Max Kaufman. The Greencastle High School representatives are Eli Hardwick and Paige Kaiser. North Putnam students can contact Grace Elmore, Alaina Fritz, Jayden Simpson, Ruby Sullivan and Grace Timm. South Putnam is represented by Evan Steffy, Jacob Beadles, Caroline Hodge and Catherine Hodge.
Students may also contact Dean Gambill at 765-653-4978 or dgambill@pcfoundation.org.
