Shots fired in road rage incident at U.S. 36 and SR 75

NEW WINCHESTER -- Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a reported road rage incident near the Putnam-Hendricks county line Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred at 6:12 p.m. near U.S. 36 and State Road 75. Shots were reportedly fired but no injuries were reported.

The victim’s vehicle was a silver Chevrolet, while the suspect vehicle was a red Toyota, authorities said.

The suspect reportedly continued southbound on SR 75.

The incident remains under investigation.
