Two Putnam County sisters are moving forward in a pair of pageant programs.

Kimber Modglin is the three-year-old daughter of Lida Mae and Matthew Modglin. She will be representing Putnam County as the 2021 Indiana Tiny Miss Agribusiness.

Kimber loves being outside and working with livestock on the farm. She is also the 2021 Putnam County America’s Best. Kimber has been competing in pageants since the end of 2020.

Elexis Weintraut is the teenage daughter of Lida Mae Modglin and James Weintraut. She will be representing Putnam County as the 2021 Indiana Junior Miss Putnam County.

Elexis has been involved with 4-H ever since she has been old enough. She has also been a member of FFA until COVID-19 made her switch schools. She is currently a freshman at Indiana Connections Academy.

Just like her little sister, Elexis also holds another title. She is also the 2021 Teen Miss Putnam County America’s Best.

The sisters will be seen around the community promoting agriculture. This something they both enjoy. Girls have to have a background in agriculture to have a chance to compete in the agribusiness pageant.

Both girls will be competing in November for a chance to go to nationals.

The sisters have advanced to nationals for America’s Best. They are currently asking for sponsorships so they can attend. Their current top sponsors for the pageants include American Family Insurance agent Nikki Dunford, Carpenter Realtors-Clint Cooper, Average Joe’s, TF Auto Brokers, Modglin Custom Design, The Shaner Family and Linda Todd.
