Kathleen Gladys Lott, 87, was born on June 21, 1933 in Indianapolis to Wayne and Gladys Lott.

Kathleen was lovingly known as “Eeny” by her family, a nickname given when her sister was too little to say “Kathleen.”

Kathleen graduated from Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis and studied business at Indiana University.

Kathleen was devoted to her family, spending many years caring for her mother and committing herself to loving her nieces and nephew as they were growing up. Kathleen was cherished and loved by all who met her, as her kind and giving spirit would shine through in the way that she would support her friends and family members.

Kathleen worked at both Stokely’s and in the John Marshall Jr. High library.

Kathleen loved flowers, birds, Hawaii, traveling, St. Patrick’s Day and being with family and friends.

Kathleen was welcomed into heaven on March 17, 2021 (St. Patrick’s Day) by her parents and brother Robert Lott.

Her family who will carry on her loving memory include her sister Betsy (Lott) Collins (David); sister-in-law Nancy Lott; nieces Leslie (Lott) Messmer (Kevin), Rebecca (Collins) Parker (Charles), Christina (Collins) Truelove (Adam) and Jennifer (Collins) Mack (Greg); and nephew David Collins (Kristina). Also carrying on her memory are her many great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date at Washington Park East.

Kathleen loved animals. Therefore, in her honor, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Putnam County, P.O. Box 444, Greencastle, IN 46135.
