Darlene F. Bell

Darlene F. Bell, 65, Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

She was born in Putnam County on June 16, 1955, the daughter of Charles and Iris Geraldine York Smiley.

She had been a homemaker and loved to camp and watch TV.

She is survived by her sons, Travis Abney, Linton, Chad (Sarah) Abney, Cloverdale, and Darrin (Amber) Abney, Carbon; grandchildren – Haleigh, Caleb, Alijah, Clinton, Constance and Renie; sisters, Shirley (Clifford) King, Greencastle, and Brenda (Lonnie) Keeney; brothers, Richard (Sandy) Smiley, Greencastle, and Harold Smiley, Greencastle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband Robert Bell, and brothers Clifford and Keith Smiley.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 13 at the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
