Legionburgers available in drive-through event Saturday

In honor of Armed Forces Day, American Legion Post 58, located at 1401 Indianapolis Rd. on Greencastle’s East Side, will stage a Legionburger drive-through under its front canopy on Saturday, May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies run out.

Legionburgers and french fries will be available at $1.50 each.

Following their absence — along with almost everything else — from the 2020 Putnam County Fair, Legion officials are hopeful this only a warmup for the fair in July, where Legionburgers are a culinary staple.

Just like the fair booth, Saturday’s event serves as a fundraiser for Legion needs and the many community activities it supports.
