Frank Joseph Skala Jr.

Frank Joseph Skala Jr., 80, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1940 in Waukegan, Ill., to the late Tillie (Slavicek) and Frank Joseph Skala Sr.

He was married to Nancy J. (Steagall) Skala on Nov. 26, 1988 in Libertyville, Ill., and she preceded him in death on Jan. 5, 2014.

Frank was a factory worker in the automotive industry for 32 years. He loved his family, fishing and spending time outdoors doing yardwork.

Survivors include his stepchildren, Bennie Ferguson of Coatesville and Cynthia Robinson of Florida; sister Betty Szwedo of Illinois; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His daughter Rhonda Gaspen and sister Lillian Gundersen also preceded him in death.

Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements. Private services will be held.
