Dawson Lane Beck

Dawson Lane Beck, 22, of Waveland, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

He was born on March 25, 1999 to Chad D. Beck and Angela M. (English) Gentry.

Dawson attended Southmont High School, and then graduated from Southeast High School in Yoder, Wyo. He worked in construction in several capacities, from roofing, to fence building, and even road construction.

He thoroughly loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, playing football, where he starred at setting school records, being with his friends, and family, and always having a great time. He will be greatly missed by so many.

He attended Calvary Baptist Church, and Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by his parents; Angela (Ryan) Gentry and Chad (Jenny) Beck; his siblings, Trystan Beck, Rylan Gentry, Colson Gentry, Paxton Gentry, Ronan Gentry, Avalynn Gentry, Davin Gentry, Thaylen Gentry, Maridyn Gentry, Kolton Beck, Briar Judy, Halley Carter and Katelynn Carter; grandparents David and Vickie Whicker, Curt and Peg Livesay, Rex and Diana Beck, Louis English, Donna Beck and Dennis and Lisa Gentry; and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Morgan Gentry.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home 301 E. Green St., Waveland, with Pastor Mark Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Monday, May 31 from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
