Geraldine ‘Jerry’ Christine Goss

Geraldine “Jerry” Christine Goss, 92, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Born Aug. 16, 1928 in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Samuel Roy and Elizabeth (Jarnigan) Wood.

She was a 1946 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Geraldine was a farm wife and homemaker. She loved being with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to paint, draw and garden and grew beautiful flowerbeds.

She was a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church and the Stitch and Chatter Club.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane Glaze and husband John and Patricia Ann Miller and husband Robert Jr.; her sister, Emma Jean Wood; grandsons John Glaze Jr. and friend Lisa and Dan Glaze and wife Angie; great-grandchildren Jacob Wright, Macey Shuee and husband Zach, Hailey Buskirk and husband Nick and Damon Glaze and wife Brittany and Samuel, Manny and Seth Glaze; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond Goss; sister Marie Knudson; and brothers Albert, Odell and Norman Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Stilesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine’s memory to the Fillmore United Methodist Church.
