Roachdale PD presents Safe Summer Kickoff Party

ROACHDALE — With a goal of getting summer off to a fun and safe start, the Roachdale Police Department will host the third-annual Safe Summer Kickoff Party on Saturday.

The event will take place from 4-8 p.m. at the Roachdale Town Park on South Indiana Street.

The free family event will include a fire department smoke house, a landing by a StatFlight helicopter, emergency vehicle tours, inflatable slides, face painting, balloon animals, live music and public safety information booths.

There will also be free food, including hot dogs, chips, drinks, popcorn and cookies.

The event is present by the Roachdale PD with the support of various other public safety organizations.
