Victims identified in Montgomery County plane crash
DARLINGTON — The two people who died in a plane crash in northeastern Montgomery County Sunday morning have been identified.
The two victims were identified as Benjamin Corbet, 21, Franklin, and Kristen Green, 28, Swisher, Iowa. Neither was identified as the pilot.
The Indiana State Police made the announcement Wednesday, noting that with the help of the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, notification of both families had been made.
The plane crashed in the field shortly after 10 a.m. Sunday. First responders soon arrived and both victimes were pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the crash scene was turned over to the FAA.
