Delta Theta Tau Staying Busy

The members of Theta chapter of Delta Theta Tau have been keeping busy in the spring and early summer. Members weeded and planted flowers in the gardens the chapter maintains at Forest Hill Cemetery. Those taking part included (from left) Rita Ferguson, Patricia Hoopengarner and Ella Marie Torr.

Meanwhile Nancy Torr Andis celebrated her 70th anniversary of becoming a member. Andis has held many offices, including serving as national president, since becoming a member in June of 1951.

In looking toward the next generation, the chapter awarded the Nancy Torr Andis Honorary Grant to Kiara Boyd (left) and the Theta Chapter Memorial Grant to Kristina Taylor.
