Jonathan Martin

This Sunday, July 4, Gobin Church will welcome acclaimed writer, speaker and pastor Jonathan Martin to preach during both the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. worship services.

Martin is the author of two critically acclaimed books, “Prototype” and “How to Survive a Shipwreck.” His forthcoming book from Baker Publishing Group is set for release in summer 2022.

Jonathan’s work and/or words have been featured in places like the New York Times, The Atlantic, NPR, Newsweek, Vox, Sojourners, The Huffington Post, and Relevant Magazine, and he has published in scholarly journals like The Journal of Pentecostal Theology.

Currently, he lives in Oklahoma City (with his small Havanese dog, Stella) where he serves as the lead pastor of The Tab.e OKC. Wherever he goes, the message is always the same — no matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done — God is at work to bring beauty out of your brokenness.
