County Jail

Eleven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Thursday

• At 6:57 a.m. Michael C. Oldham, 31, Fillmore, was lodged at the jail for battery.

Wednesday

• At 10:02 p.m. Keven D. Crowe, 29, Greencastle, was taken into custody for resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

• At 3:23 a.m. Ciarra R. Kindig, 22, Fishers, was housed at the jail on a court order.

• At 1:37 a.m. Autumn D. McCord, 35, Fillmore, was booked in for domestic battery.

Tuesday

• At 10:49 p.m. William H. Leonard, 26, Terre Haute, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 10:42 p.m. Andrea R. Cottrell, 40, Terre Haute, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, false informing and on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 8:52 p.m. Mary A. Watson, 61, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for possession of methamphetamine.

• At 4:28 p.m. Kimberly A. Pena, 34, Greencastle, was booked in on a warrant for trespassing, theft and resisting law enforcement.

• At 2:11 p.m. Christina M. Tucker, 40, Bainbridge, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

• At 2:18 p.m. Cole M. Williams, 25, Lafayette, was lodged at the jail for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 11:52 a.m. Antonio L. Harris-Nino, 20, Greencastle, was housed at the jail for criminal mischief.

City Police

Four recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 4:44 p.m. Monday, Christopher Campbell, 22, Cloverdale, was arrested by Officer Darrel Bunten.

Stopped on South Jackson Street near the bowling alley, Campbell was arrested on an Owen County warrant for failure to appear in court for violation of probation on an original charge of burglary.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Campbell was also arrested for possession of marijuana.

At the same time, Destiny Baugh, 22, Greencastle, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and for being an operator never licensed.

• At 1:36 p.m. Monday, Robert Elmore, 52, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Bunten.

Elmore, who was lodged in the Putnam County Jail, was taken into custody at Walnut and Market streets on a Putnam County warrant for battery.

• At 1 p.m. Monday, Kenna Spears, 42, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Bunten.

Taken into custody at McClure’s on Bloomington Street, Spears was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on a Putnam County warrant for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and for pointing a firearm at another.

• At 3:10 a.m. Sunday, David Burroff, 41, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Alec Pettit.

Taken into custody at Columbia and Market streets, Burroff was arrested on a Putnam County warrant for failure to appear on charges of unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. He was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

A pair of citations were issued recently by Greencastle officers.

• At 11:15 p.m. Monday, Matthew Rogers, 24, Greencastle, was issued a summons by Sgt. Brad Hiatt.

Stopped at Albin Pond and Round Barn roads, Rogers was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to three recent incidents:

• At 9:42 p.m. on Monday, GFD responded to an outside fire at the small parking lot at the intersection of Elm Street and Maple Avenue. Firefighters found the fire at 9:47 and determined it was made with dried sticks and branches. The fire was extinguished, and GFD went back into service at 10 p.m.

• At 1:38 a.m. on Tuesday, GFD received a call for a possible gas leak at 12 Cherry Wood Ct. Firefighters arrived at 1:48 and monitored the property, but nothing was found. The gas was shut off, and GFD went back into service at 2:04 a.m.

• At 12:59 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD was dispatched to 308 S. Jackson St. for a carbon monoxide alarm. Firefighters arrived at 1:05 p.m. and monitored the property, but found nothing. GFD went back into service at 1:22 p.m.

Additionally, GFD recently performed six medical assists and had one disregard.
