Fillmore council approves tax sale

FILLMORE — The Fillmore Town Council had a short agenda Thursday evening with its only item being an approval of a property tax sale.

Fillmore resident Dan Trimble brought the request to put the tax sale on 114 S. Main St. Trimble also asked that old sewage fine on the property be alleviated.

Clerk-Treasurer Jayna Haldeman and Town Attorney Jeff Boggess joined the council for the meeting. Town Marshal Darrel Bunten, Utilities Operator Joe Cash and Terry Wood of the Fillmore Volunteer Fire Department were absent.

The next regular meeting of the Fillmore Town Council is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Fillmore Town Hall.
