County Jail
Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.
Tuesday
At 2:33 a.m. Caitlin M. Goings, 26, Terre Haute, was booked in for battery resulting in bodily injury.
Monday
At 11:44 p.m. Ryan M. Coble, 23, Greencastle, was lodged at the jail for driving with a BAC of .15 percent or more.
At 9:52 p.m. Uriah B. Kortz, 39, Greencastle, was taken into custody for stalking and criminal recklessness.
At 8:40 p.m. Wade C. Garrett, 43, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for domestic battery.
Sunday
At 3:50 p.m. Robert L. Washburn, 41, Roachdale, was taken into custody for theft and driving without ever receiving a license.
At 1:32 a.m. Kyle A. McCammon, 33, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for domestic battery, strangulation and criminal mischief.
Saturday
At 3:55 p.m. Randy W. Runnells, 56, Greencastle, was booked in for alteration of handgun identifying marks, possession of methamphetamine and resisting law enforcement.
City Police
Three recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers
At 12:42 a.m. Monday, Nathaniel P. Ginsberg, 41, Plainfield, was arrested by Officer Luke Brown.
Arrested after a traffic stop at Washington and Vine streets, Ginsberg was booked into the Putnam County Jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.
At the same time, the driver of the vehicle, Teresa Hall, 54, Plainfield, was issued a summons into court for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.
At 6:05 p.m. Sunday, Tonya L. Pruitt, 46, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Darrel Bunten in the Dollar General parking lot on North Jackson Street.
Pruitt was lodged at the jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
At 9:24 p.m. July 1, Nicholas Bennett, 30, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Alec Pettit.
Taken into custody at a Gardenside Drive residence, Bennett was lodged at the jail on a Marion County warrant for theft and unlawful possession of a syringe. He was also arrested on a Parke County warrant for possession of methamphetamine.
One additional summons was issued recently by city officers.
At 10:14 p.m. Tuesday, Dakota Campbell, 29, Greencastle, was cited by Officer Pettit.
Stopped on Jackson Street, Campbell was cited for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense and was ticketed for having an expired license plate (April 14, 2019).
City Fire
The Greencastle Fire Department recently performed five medical assists and had one disregard.
