Arthur L. Adams

Arthur L. Adams, 70, of Cloverdale, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021.

He was born in Ashland, Ky., to the late Arthur and Frances (Parson) Adams.

He married Frances Joyce (Johnson) Oct. 31, 1969, and she survives.

He worked for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years, and was a natural born hot rodder. He belonged to the Liars Car Club, and was a member of the UAW 1111. As a member of the UAW 1111 he was community service chairman and trustee for many years. Through these two positions he serviced the community and union well.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Arthur Adams II and wife Rebecca, and Jeffery Adams and wife Lisa; grandchildren Laline Honeycutt, Arthur Adams III, Aaron Adams, Jasmine Adams, Austin Adams, Chloe Gardner, Ava Gardner, Aiden Adams, Luna Honeycutt, Arianna Adams and Celeste Honeycutt with one on the way. Also surviving is his sister, Arlene Lines.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 18 with burial following in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.
