With the Putnam County Fair Parade set for 2 p.m. Sunday, organizers are encouraging attendees to do their part to help stop the resurgence of COVID-19.

“With Covid still a possibility and to adhere with CDC guidelines we are asking families and individuals to practice social distancing while maintaining six feet even when outside and/or vaccinated,” a parade committee statement read. “If individuals are showing any symptoms of illness or been exposed that they please stay home. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep our event safe.”

The parade will run westbound on Washington Street from Indianapolis Road to downtown Greencastle.
